Ted, What do you think the tax cuts are all about?

It isn't about wealth redistribution. It's all about letting citizens decide what to do with their own money, instead of politicians who act like Robin Hood.

Yeah, like they did in OR and the Portland schools had to be closed in March? I didn't see any OR wealthy poney up the money to keep the public schools open. Oh, that's right......they send their kids to private school.

Are they just to get votes? Perhaps, but tax cuts have been a fundamental part of the GOP platform for decades now. It seems to be working, for even the Dems know that tax cuts win more votes than their traditional "tax-n-spend" philosophy.

And you call that smart? That's why I call the GOP the-all-for-one-and-all-for-me party. ;~))
