Have you read the articles claiming Bush is going to use his "ignorance" as a tool to not get bogged down in the "he said she said" politics of name/blame as usual over there?

I think they said naiveté; however, I think that will work only if he's faking it. If he's really ignorant of the facts, he's likely to make a blunder.......which is easy to do with Sharon and Abbas.

I thought that was hilarious, Bush bashing down doors saying "I don't want no more fighting see, now shake hands like men". What the hell, it may work - at least as far as getting signatures on paper and drawing lines in the sand. Israel and the PLO really need to get over the past and move forward - unless they want war and poverty forever. But I'm probably just being naive about the depths of their hatred.

Its become a way of life. I suspect they are afraid to trust each other. I don't know how you get over it.
