Posted on the Yahoo NCN thread:

>>> I recently had my shares of NCN issued as a certificate. Yesterday I got a check from Computershare for my last dividend. Not only did they withold 15% for non-resident taxes but they took out another 30% for "back up witholding."

I plan to call later today during business hours to find out what is going on. It appears to be Canadian witholding, because it is exactly 30% of the Canadian dollar amount before converstion to $US.

Has anyone else had to deal with this? I assume it's a mistake and that the 30% is supposed to be for Canadian citizens. <<<

Do you know anything about this?
