Because you DENY these massacres took place. No, I didn't. In 1994, a flood of army desertions caused Saddam to issue a decree ordering deserters' ears cut off Wow, he forced people to fight in his army. No civilized country would do that. sss.gov Just wait until the detailed probes and excavations of the other mass graves in the country come to light. Exactly! There is no information on massacres, it is still being uncovered. And when it is, then we can begin the discussion. We can compare the human rights abuses when Saddam was our good friend and ally. Remember when Reagan sent Saddam a personal gift of a pair of golden spurs? A more important gift followed - the American military provided Saddam targeting coordinates for his chemical weapons attacks on the Iranian army. Tom
