Is it ad hoc ergo propter hoc (this therefore that)? I mean, are we using sound logic? Well accepted logic? Any references?

been a while since I studied Latin....<g>

I fully appreciate and share your skepticism about TA. Nonetheless, I have learned through some very expensive lessons (no didactic lessons or book reading for me when losing my money, no sir!) that there is a substantial amount of money chasing TA signals out there and therefore the "I think therefore I am" phenomenology is apt.<g> IOW, even if it ain't real, is tends to become so because people believe (and money flows). And thus, gaps almost always fill, even (especially) if 1 - 1.5 years out. All JMO.

WRT references, I can provide references on a whole lot of things, but not that. <g> Learned it in the school of very hard knocks.

Cheers, and quod eradt demonstratum,

bp
