Ted, Assuming that's true, you think that was enough to close the whole Portland school system in March. It had nothing to do with the fukking fascist conservative who rolled back tax after tax and then filed bankruptcy? Da Nile is a terrible disease In 2003, there was a general election held to raise income taxes for the year. There was a lot of campaigning for the tax hike, and very little campaigning against. Yet the measure failed big time. In other words, Bill Sizemore (the "fukking fascist conservative," your whipping boy of the moment) had nothing to do with it. Oregonians have spoken, and they want the government to cut back on spending just like the regular citizens have to in this tough economy. And what do you call "the spend and spend, and then cut taxes" Reps........pigs?! You realize that the vast majority of the federal budget is social services, i.e. money the Dems love to spend? Even the military budget doesn't even come close. Tenchusatsu
