Diamonds North Resources Ltd.: Kidme Ownership Dispute Resolved; Exploration Planning Underway

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--Diamonds North Resources Ltd. (DDN - TSX Venture) announces that the ownership dispute over the Kidme claims in the Northwest Territories is resolved. Further to the news release of May 5th, 2003, Diamonds North Resources Ltd reports that as of June 2nd, 2003 the 30 day period to appeal the decision of the tribunal released May 2nd 2003, has passed and the Company has been informed that no notice of appeal has been filed.
Diamonds North holds a 40% interest in the, 90,000 acre Kidme property which is located south of and adjacent to the Kennady Lake property, NWT on which the highly diamondiferous Tuzo and 5034 kimberlite pipes are located. Due to the legal dispute since 1997, no exploration has been conducted on the property. Now that ownership of the Kidme Property is confirmed, Diamonds North and its partner are planning an aggressive exploration program for 2003 and plans will be released when finalized.
