Ted, Is it because you've never seen how honorable people behave and you're confused? Honorable? It seems you're the one who's confused. According to a report I've read, the editors were forced out by their employees. Raines knew about the scandals going on and had the power to stop them, but didn't because of his "politically correct" agenda. That, plus his management style that has been called "bizarre" at best, all got ignited once Jayson Blair spilled the beans. Raines is not an "honorable" person. He has damaged the reputation of one of the most respected newspapers in the world, and his resignation is well-deserved. Tenchusatsu
