I must look up "Sex and Lucia" then. As for "About Schmidt", I never even thought about seeing it, so great was my boredom and complete lack of interest during the first half hour of that other "deep" Jack Nicholson movie (about this antisocial guy) that I managed to sit through. Not my kind of film at all. Obviously, this is all prejudice, since I don't even know what "About Schmidt" is about :-) If you say it's interesting (and if your husband who loved eXistenZ thinks so, as well), I will give it a try.. Meanwhile, cursing my beloved jet lag, I watched "The Core" in the hotel the other day. Half of it, at least. How anyone can come up with a plot as stupid and insulting to the intellect is beyond me. More interesting are the hallucinations I keep getting. Still no sign of the jet lag abating. I will probably adjust the last day of my stay in the US, and go through the whole process once again back home :-)
