Zonder-- Despite your hostility, my posts have been absolutely consistent.
1) Saddam is a murderer and has committed crimes against humanity. Do you agree?
2) The UN has an obligation to act, as it did when it sanctioned NATO (US) intervention against Milosovic. Do you agree?
3) Bush does not see the picture in the way I have described. Do you agree?
4) Saddam has killed more Muslims than any person on earth, including Milosovic? Do you agree?
5) Given Saddam's egregious record of mass destruction, he must be stopped. Do you agree?
6) Given this, and the failure of the UN (france), some force must be applied to stop the criminal Saddam? Do you agree?
7) Bush, whatever his motives, has done the Iraqis and the world a favor by eliminating a evil force from the fulcrum of power. Do you agree?
8) The UN (france) has failed to prevent future tyrants by tacitly encouraging them by placing their economic interests above the human concerns that Saddam, the murderous tyrant, presented. Do you agree?
Please do not accuse me of being an apologist for Bush. I have been and consistently remain a critic of him. I have repeated this often. However, I find him infinitely preferable to those who are so blinded by their reflexive opposition to the US that they compare Bush's actions with those of Saddam Hussein. Sadly, I think that many of those opposed to the war in Iraq for decent motives, are condoning future Hitlers. However, there are those who are reflexively anti-American, and we cannot reason with them.
