I am probably going to change my focus on these bonds.

Instead of looking for "cheap" bonds that are issued by companies that have the assets to pay the bonds at maturity, I think that I will look for bonds that might be bought out early (like SEPR did with the '05s) and bonds that might go to a premium due to the common reaching or exceeding the conversion price.

Since these are very different criteria, I will probably be posting the prices of very different kinds of bonds. One of the factors will be a high current interest rate and the legal ability to call the bond. Another factor will be a relative low conversion price.
