Iraq didn't use any.

My goodness, the US has been attacking Iraq since 1991, enforcing the no-fly zone.. And the Iraqis were beating up on their Shiite population for years as well.. And in neither case did they use chemical weapons.

But we still found 'em in 1995, when they got "knarked off" by Saddam's son-in-law who defected to Jordan...

No one can explain why they didn't use them. But it was apparently that US leadership truly believed that they were vulnerable to a chemical attack by the fact that all US troops were required to wear chemical protective suits.

But my theory is this. Either they have buried them in places where only a select few of the most trusted members of Saddam's clan know the location of, biding their time for some future opportunity to regain power. OR they were shipped to Syria for safe-keeping.

After all, Iraq provided Syria with $1 Billion worth of free oil every year. But the question is what the Iraqis received in exchange for that oil? It's clear that Bashir Assad has but a tentative hold on power in that country, acting mainly as a figurehead to keep the various power factions in the country from fighting one another for power.

It's altogether possible that one faction of Syria's Baathist party made a "sweetheart deal" with Saddam to hold those chemical weapons for them.

But it's still entirely possible they are buried in some remote location in Iraq.
