It's more and more obvious as time goes on that Bush's presidency has always been about rewarding the rich and giving away as much as he can to them. From tax cuts to taking Iraq's oil fields. I am not defending Saddam who the world will not miss. But lying to the public and using America's considerable power to reward a few rich oil concerns is far worse in my book that diddling with Monica in the Oval office. At least nobody died over that. Bush's legacy will live on long after he is gone because these deficits he has created will reach out for ten more years unless taxes are raised. And then the Democrats will be blamed for that. And deficit spending also rewards his rich banker friends. More giveaway to the rich. I've been a Republican since Ronald Reagan but I announce now that I am cured. People need to give up blind loyalty to a single party and judge the issues on their own merit. Even on the abortion issue the republican's have given lip service for over 20 years but it is still legal and only now have they even banned one heinous form of it. Lip service for Christian votes. Wake up Christians, you're being had.

I believe things will keep unfolding as the election gets closer and Bush has an uphill battle ahead of him.
