well I said it was just a theory but I am certain that some maintenance or something was done, precisely in the weekend that SI and Ihub merged. The site was down, it came back up, it was slower and it was much more difficult to post. What do you think the issue is? this is what Bob says- Now that the new database server is up and running (but not doing any work yet), the contractors say they're gonna put some serious work into things (first priority -- see if they can identify/fix the performance problem) this weekend, including pulling an all-nighter tonight. Message 19010490 My opinion is that this is a locking/latching DB-OS problem, just because I've seen these issues before and thats what it seems like. Msft products are weak in this area.
