Hi Ewgen,
f the price of oil/ng comes down the unit price of PGH (and other canroys)
The unit price does track the payout in general with the return ratio going lower at the extreme ends from what I've seen but a 15% hit won't be terribly hard to swallow for LT investors IMO in this if maintainable. Depends on your LT expectations for NG I guess. Will we see 2$ gas again in the next few years for any prolonged period ? Consider that at 18% we are anticipating a ROI of 100% in 4 years flat. A 15% hit on principle at the get go (next couple of months) will extend this return period out a bit but as he points out would still be a handsome return.
Granted most here are looking to beat that type of year over year return but that's another story.
Pengrowth is not one of my favourites though due to the write downs from the east coast reserves but I am biased as I'm way overweight these CanRoys.

Like everyone else I don't have any answers either just speculations :o)

regards
Kastel
