Iranian hope was that the Kurds would rebel against Saddam. Saddam slimed them all, Iranians and Kurds.

Gosh.. using chemical weapons against BOTH Iranian soldiers, and Iraqi-Kurdish civilians?

That makes me feel SO MUCH BETTER... Geez.. Thanks for justifying such a precedent..

I guess the US would have been authorized to use Chemical weapons in Baghdad under the rules you seem to visualize as justifiable.

The weapons don't exist, except in your imagination.

Well, at least I'm not alone in imagining that. The Iraqis imagined the same thing, and went so far as to expend considerable effort to perpepuate that self-delusion.

And the UNSCOM/UNMOVIC inspectors, and almost every other intelligence agency that investigated the claim, could not refute such delusions of existing WMDs.

Everyone has been fooled by you... My, you must have some personal intelligence staff.. A pretty nifty Walsingham network you have got going on there...
