I take anything the Economist has to say with a grain of salt. I would look for a 30% drop over 6 years... Also, the British real estate market is just as nuts, if not more so, that ours, and it too will have to come down over time. A few years ago they had a cover story about crude oil going to $5 a barrel, I of course used this as a contrary indicator and took every available dollar I could lay my hands on and went long crude futures in the $10.50 area. That was a very good idea!!
