PRICE CONTROLS- what could Congress legally do to cap prices? What would that do to futures, profits, etc? Can they just go ahead and do that- "No one will sell ngas for more than $x"? How can they rob shareholders for one, or ngas traders for another?

I have wondered if this might happen. What are they then going to do, send out the national guard to force companies to drill wells since high prices aren't allowed anymore? I'm really wondering if we'll get some loony democratic inspired action this next 12 months.
