Why would someone like you who literally stands in the footsteps of the Puritans and their descendents and who personally benefits from the land-grabbing, bad-mouth the Puritans? If not for those "skunks" you wouldn't have land to fence meat-eaters out of.

BTW, are you aware meat-eaters are a natural and important part of any ecosystem?

One more little point, the Pilgrims never engaged in any violence against anybody though they were willing to do so in self-defence. The only thing they stole was corn from caches they dug up in the first winter and they paid for that after the fact. Do you consider William Penn and Roger Williams "skunks" as well?
