Please. Just look into the components of CPI and PPI. You cannot miss how inflation is calculated. <I can't have even one more discussion with you about what it is that defines inflation. Either you understand by now or you don't.> Well, I understand it, and it transcends your point. You use one factor in your analysis, no? It is not HER analysis. It is how inflation is CALCULATED. I believe the Japanese central bank has been buying dollars for Yen, no? The preferred method through which Japan has been supporting the US economy has been investing unreal amounts into US t-bills, rather than buying USDs.
