Olli-Pekka's update ...

Slacker,

Interesting call. ASPs down on sequential basis in EURO terms, and currency conversion to EUR seems to be the major factor in projecting sales and EPS on the low side of guidance, but within guidance. I was pleased to see that Olli-Pekka did not specifically blame SARS for the lower Asian ASPs. Sounds like they are pretty confident in the positive impact of new product intros for the Americas including CDMA. Given the overall climate for infra, sounds like infra is a mild Nokia positive for this quarter. In general I think it set a good general tone for the industry, blunting Motorola’s more pessimistic outlook yesterday.
