At least the profits of oil production will benefit the Iraqi people instead of a few. I don't believe I've heard anyone claim this was going to be easy......on the contrary. If the people of Iraq pick themselves up by their "bootstaps" and take an interest in participating in civilization, I don't mind lending them a helping hand at all. I suppose we could just turn our backs on them and let the fanatical mullahs run the place? Is that what the left is suggesting? M
