The Nobel committee's bias makes the entire process absurd.. In 1990 they gave it to Gorbochev for "helping to bring an end to the Cold War", without so much as a mention of Ronald Reagan. Now, I do believe Reagan's leadership ended the Cold War, but I could have seen a joint award. But to totally snub the guy who was predominantly responsible (in my view and in the views of many) just totally destroys any credibility they may have ever had.
