However once a cycle becomes popularized everybody is looking for it and it will perhaps fall apart.

I think that happens to many technical tools. They become popular and by being in wide spread use they invalidate themselves.

Maybe just a few people in the gold pits said we better sell today for all the above discussed reasons.

I gather some mild hope that it (POG) seems to be recovering a little tonight.

However one rule remains inviolate:

that all markets conspire to make the most fools out of us as they possibly can
