Good evening, Brian. I must admit that it appears that Mars is on some type of a witch hunt in order to take away the major aspects of Christianity that forms the basis for our belief.
As long as we provide a bully pulpit for him he will continue to use these mythical cults to make it appear that we are similiar to them or have borrowed from them.
Any Christian is well acquainted with s,u,f,f,e,r,i,n,g and p,e,r,s,e,c,u,t,i,o,n. But it is because of this that we are able to take up the cross of Christ and follow him as new creatures, having thrown off the humanistic vagary of those who wander endlessly with no set course or rudder to steer them to a completeness in Christ.
Do not give him the fodder for his irrelevant critiques of our Lord and Savior. Steer a wide course around him and pay him no mind.
Put on the full armor of Christ and rejoice in the joy that we have in spite of worldly circumstances.
