But it is possible that Iran listened to the same lies that other Iraqi expats exported; that Iraq had mounds of WMDs and needed to be invaded and disarmed immediately (and themselves put into power, LOL).

Except that Iran's spies were likely primarily from the Shiite groups. And it's not like Iran is gaining anything at this point by claiming that Iraq had WMDs, especially with the friction going on..

But hey... I report, y'all can decide... I still believe they are in Syria.

The only article I can find on Tehran Times is this one, which suggests that the EU didn't say that Iraq had WMDs:

So I guess we've wasted the past, what, 7 years permitting UNSCOM/UNMOVIC to claim that they couldn't be sure that Saddam didn't have any WMDs?

All just a big dog and pony show, right?? That's why they all voted 15-0 for UNSC 1441, even though they all knew Iraq didn't have any WMDs, right?]

They just let Bush "bully" them into voting in such a manner when all they had to do was prove (or not even bother to prove) that Iraq possessed weapons??

Damn.. you are just one smart cookie Bilow... You know more than every other intelligence service on the face of the earth.

And you certainly seem to know more than all those pesky inspectors...
