I was merely wondering why you would expect everyone on here to be moderate, or to be expressing moderate viewpoints. Even moderate people, may be intemperate on one issue or another.

I do not know how *everyone* on this thread feels- I do not even know who *everyone* would be- and I doubt any of them feel exactly the same about everything, or even about their fellow citizens. That is what I think. It does not represent anyone but me. I do not speak for liberals, I speak only for this liberal, me.

Do you speak collectively, or for yourself? And if you speak collectively, do you have the permission of a collective to speak for them? I doubt it.
