I think it still looks strong technically. But it's your call. I'm a newbie in technical analysis, and you shouldn't take my opinion too seriously. I've been burned in the past by listening to recommendations on bulletin boards, and you could be, too. And I've been burned as badly by listening to the advice of experienced investors. You really have to find your own criteria for buying stocks, criteria that you're comfortable with. That's the good thing about technical analysis -- and fundamental analysis, for that matter: They allow you to make your own decisions and not follow other people's advice (or worse, tips).
I said GECM still looks strong, but one friend who has far more experience in TA than I do thought GECM looked risky before it reached 10, and he may yet prove to be right. But other people with experience in technical analysis (including Andy Gabor and Dave Coburn) might think that GECM looks good, based on their interpretation of indicators. But I'm sure they're aware of the risks, and weighed quite a few pros and cons before making a decision.
Sorry for the long note -- I don't mean to lecture or to bore, when all you want is an opinion on GECM at 11. All I mean to say is: Be wary of specific advice on whether or not to buy or sell a stock. Even people with a lot of experience are often wrong. Some help I am, huh? |
