Dak:

Yes, I did, although the recent run-up gave me plenty of heart burn. Cleared the remainder this am.

I am adding to other airline stocks now. AMR has gone from a buck to $9.00, based on the company having avoided bankruptcy. This is a delight for thoughtful shorts as AMR's balance sheet is a disaster and a bankruptcy is becoming almost a necessity if the company hopes to compete successfully against the other airlines as they emerge from bankruptcy without debt service obligations. I expect the markets to pick up on this and smack AMR's stock back down to a more realistic level. Delta is in a similar pickle. Up here in Canuckistan, "Air Can't" (Air Canada) is a basket case, but the short position has been large and the firms have roasted the shorts with regular buy-ins. I think that is just ending so am once again jumping on it.

Main gig at this end will be semi-related for the next few weeks as the warnings period just getting underway will be brutal in that sector.

Best, Earlie
