Uh, the US didn't conquer Baghdad. The citizens still run around freely with weapons. No civilian authority is present. It's a total mess. And US soldiers are still taking casualties. Here's the latest:

What they did was remove the Baghdad government, which is something far below what Israel attempted in Lebanon.
