It depends on what you mean by competition.

RSA Security is nowhere near death and has been coming back nicely of late. They're also quite a bit more diversified with their products/revenue than Certicom is, and therefore aren't an apples to apples comparison.

NTRU on the other hand is probably in more of the "near death" category. CTT has written off their investment in them.
