The argument that I made, that every Muslim I know believes that the US favors Israel, and it pisses them off, is limited in the sense that I don't know every Muslim, just some Muslims, but I think it's a very widely held opinion in the Muslim world.

I have no doubt of it. What I doubt is the unspoken corollary, that if the US changed its policy to be more "even handed", the Muslim world would change its mind. After the disaster of Oslo, nothing short of preventing Israel from responding to terror at all & forcing a complete withdrawal, first to the Green Line, then from existence, would satisfy the Muslim world.

They're not mad because we favor Israel. They're mad because we won't help them destroy Israel.
