You just dont get it. It wouldnt matter if Israel was a secular state or a jewish state. For many arabs, the only good jew is a dead one. Many secular states existed in the mideast that had large successful Jewish populations. Basrah in iraq had 200,000 Jews. Iran(persian) had a large Jewish population. Bagdad was a modern city with a large Jewish population. And of course there were Ethiopian Jews, and Yemeni Jews. They have virtually all been driven out of their home countries. Did you see the map in the Flash or do you not see what you dont want to see. Tiny Israel in the arabian sea. So there goes the secular Israel argument. If you are outvoted and there are no provisions to protect the minority, you are doomed. And Jews should accept their fate again. No way, no how. Your motivations are good CB but you are missing the point and that point is as wide as a Mack Truck. Please take another look at this issue. No one is saying arabs should be persecuted inside of Israel or on the WB. And I for one cheer Bush on in his attempt(perhaps futile) to prop up the new Pal PM. Mike
