Hi Everybody!
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to y'all, I've been dealing with our contractor in Oregon about all our leaks up there and just flew back to Vacaville this morning to deal with all of the problems down here...OUCH! Just walked into the house from a very long and round about journey through Salt Lake City...DELTA doesn't fly directly from Portland to SFO anymore... and going stand-by is an adventure in itself. Anyway, I can't get into my bedroom, because the carpet guys shampooed the carpet today and locked the bedroom door...I have no idea where the keys are! GROAN!
The insurance guy, contractor and soils engineer are going to be here tomorrow at 11:00, and my daughter is getting married at 1:00. Now, ask me about my stress level! Luckily, Kelly's wedding is going to be a very simple ceremony...Phil just finished survival training with the Air Force in Washington State, and I guess he feels that if he can survive that experience, marrying my daughter should be a pice of cake...HA...he doesn't know her like I do...the Air Force should have used her in some of their survival exercises. (If she ever reads this, I'm in deep trouble!) Anyway, since he had a week's leave, they just decided to move up their wedding date and get married before he has to leave for tech training in Oaklahoma...isn't that romantic!?
So, about the party...how does Sunday, the 31st, sound to everyone??? If you all get here around 10 or 11, we can swim and do whatever and eat around 12 or 12:30. I thought if each family brought either a dessert or a salad, I'd supply the hamburgers, real or vegie, and all the trimmings! I'll also supply the sodas, and you can bring whatever other beverages you'd like to drink! That's all for now...more later! I've got to find those bedroom keys and crash.

P.S. Alexa...your darlings are certainly welcome. They are very well-behaved...it's zm that I'm worried about! <ggg> |
