Hello KastelCo, Today started out as an ordinary day, one in a series of ordinary days.
After arriving in Central Business District, I realized that the thunderstorm cloud is still in place on this side of the island, as it has over the past 5-6 days, but is nowhere to be seen on my residential side. I take the message from god as ‘go home early today, to swim and play’.
After entering the office, I got message that a good friend is visiting town, and thus am looking forward to an afternoon and night of mayhem and debauchery, no, not out on the town, but in Unreal Tournament cyberspace, and making time for a pizza at dinner time.
After sitting down at my desk and booting up the computer, as my MS Money program updated the closing prices from multiple markets, I found out that Canadian Royalties made me better off once more, after again the day before, and the day before that.
Vermilion has started to move again, and I think you should buy a dollop, now, just so that you do not have to buy a more expensive dollop later on.
I then found out that my German Allianz, purchased here Message 18893338 <<April 29th, 2003>> has risen 31% in Euro terms, a seemingly fair return.
I also found out that the Japanese government would finally get serious about destroying the value of my Japanese Yen loan, perhaps by forcing its citizens to pay a tax on cash, or buy gold or buy shares. I trust that the Japanese government will succeed in destroying its currency.
I am worried, because I am facing reinvestment risk on many fronts, as eventually I will have to take profit by selling the gainers in exchange for something else, but I do not know what that something else is. No, Maurice, it is not Q;0)
Perhaps it is time to go progressively and massively long on Chinese shares, as that country helps to bring about TeoTwawKi, and give rise to a different world … Message 19024871 .
The day China goes democratic in any way, the news of the new millennium headlines should boost its share market, warranted or not, as imagination overcomes all mental resistance.
