Hummm...Thanks for the heads-up! Will be on the lookout for info... As you and others may have previously read in my previous posts (somewhere here or on FADG.. :0), it's been gut feeling that only a Hashemite regime, similar to Jordan, would possess sufficient legitimacy and democratic opportunity to transition Iraq to some level of political modernity. But the question is whether King Abdullah of Jordan would attempt to seize the crown (and the oil) or a family member. IMO, this would set of a VERY powerful counterweight to Saudi influence in the region, as well as the oil markets. We should recall that the Saudis seized control over the Muslim holy sites from the Hashemit Caliph back in the 20's, forcing the Hashemites to flee to Jordan (originally they wanted Syria) and Iraq. And no doubt the Hashmites would like to offer a little "payback" to the Saudis once economically empowered through Iraq's oil wealth. It would be an interesting re-balancing of the regional strategic situation. Hawk
