Why, thank you so much for sharing that tidbit with me. I always wondered how that worked. So simple - can't understand why all difficulty with 56k. It'll just be our little secret. <g>

Oh, the HiPer high density modem cards from a company-who-shall-remain-nameless (see top of screen) must be described as "each pair of modems consist of a DSP chip and two little chips to control it on the other side of the board."
