The U.S. spends more on its military than the rest of the world combined. The US also spends more on entitlements than all nations combined. We also spend more on medical coverage than a good portion of most nations. It comes with having a 10 Trillion dollar economy, which is about 33% of the total global GDP. But the question was whether we're seeing the military industrial complex showing more strength than during the time of Dwight Eisenhower. And the statistics do not support this.
