Thanks. I knew that my last post would get me a quick boot. I have been dying to get kicked off the thread for some time and tsi's Stalin-like heavy hand seemed like a good excuse. My self-esteem has gone up several notches.

If I not mistaken, the original intent for the thread was to make it a place for a moderate airing of disparate thoughts. I would welcome such a thread. Obviously, that particular thread evolved in another direction. SI still needs a "moderate" thread.
