Actually the biggest speech bonanza belongs to papa Bush. He got paid in stock of Global Crossing for a speech and it later grew to $14 million. Not sure whether he cashed in before Global Crossing tanked. I somehow find it demeaning for former US Presidents to go around giving speeches for money, but I guess that's entertainment.
