Hi Jay, it's a silent, warm (to turn hot-hot-hot) morning here, birds singing... Scanning my sketches from the recent backpacking episode (did cca 75 km) and scanning around as well... re backpacking: sad, but before the last stretch (two days more) me and my backpacking buddy of cca 1400 km decided to give up and do those two days with our ladies in the car. One prevalent reason: Helmut is just scared witless of bears (the deep-in-your-guts, irrational fear) Of course it does not help much when you see pictures of happy bear families hanging in the corridor of the boardhouse you sleep in, or the passer-by tells you "they're nothing to fear about, just keep on walking and talk loud"...... re >>I ask myself the obvious question ...<< Is China not the side of the equation we just do not appreciate / factor in enough? Rephrased, back few years ago, the current record of growth etc was not exactly on the books... Of course even today's books may be cooked, but still...
