since the 1979 overthrow of the shah, a longtime ally of the United States, and its replacement with a Shi'ite theocracy led by the Ayatollah Khomeini, Iran has been incorrigibly hostile to the United States and Israel. Does anyone besides me find this IRONIC? Here we have a Nation formerly run by a Dictator, now run by a Theocracy and this Theocracy has become the enemy of two of the most Democratic and supposedly peace loving Nations on Earth. And they call THAT Religion? Seems to me someday these Mullahs are going to have a lot of explaining to do if their Religion means anything in the afterlife. jdn
