to All, Fleck was good last night on Wall Street Week with Fortunato. Or, at least he was good when Elaine Garzarelli would stop yapping for a second and let him talk. The moderators kept saying "go ahead, Bill" and "Elaine, let's hear from Bill," but she kept going and blowing. When Fleck told her to forget the "real" economic numbers and look at the nominal numbers, unaffected by hedonic pricing and imputations, she didn't even have a clue what he was talking about. But she still looks nice, so I score this one for Elaine and wish she'd go and blow over this way. <VBG>
