Thanks for the account of your problem and cure. I like what you say about Norton Ghost, especially that it could install just one file if necessary, as that was the exact problem I was facing last week when I got a false positive for a virus in a file that turned out to be vital to running Word. So now I'm getting real interested in the system restore/backup issue and I'd like to know if anyone else has any feedback on Norton Ghost or a comparison between Ghost and Drive Image, which I know is the other popular one. Anyone??
