<<dell vs. intel who will go up more in the next 5 days>>
Do you really want to know?
Here is the answer. INTC man!, it is a technology leader, the Intel pentium inside logo is the killer. People don't want to buy the box if it does not have that logo on it. AMD can claim that they are 100 % compatible, and they are 25% cheaper but it does not matter, the price is so cheap that people can ignore the diff. Would you buy Lexus for a $500 or Toyota for a $375, choice is Lexus eventhough either car can take you from point A to point B.
Intel can afford to cut the price, they will make up for it with the units sale increase.
On the other hand, DELL is not number one, DELL is counting on the direct-sale model. We don't know how long that would last everybody is firing bullets at it, my DAD is competing with DELL.
DELL is good co, but it is way over-value. You can read the Pros and Cons from DELL thread, this is my simple opinion.
I currently short DELL, and hold large pile of INTC.
