Fritz, Kastel, Kyros:

"On the other hand, 1000 oz bars are a PIA to move and ship. You might consider just buying 100 oz bars. You should be able to find them for between 5% and 10% over spot. 100's are also going to be a lot easier for you to sell. Other option is $1000 bags of 90% coins.. They are real cheap rite now.. figure contents at 715-720 oz"

The 90% coins that I have located are not really a viable product. The spread between the buy and sell price is astronomical.

100 oz. bars are priced excessively high also, running in the range of 8-10% over present value and also a huge spread between buy and sell. Either way I would be almost better off with CEF.

As for a futures contract, that is fine if you don't want to be holding the physical, in which case I could buy into the Kitco pool account at a more reasonable cost. Also, I truly don't want to screw around with paying someone to hold MY silver for the simple reason I don't trust them to deliver in an emergency.

I do appreciate the input.

Thanks all.
