I think the extreme nature of the right wing Bush agenda will create something of a backlash in the American electorate. I don't see anything worthwhile coming from the Democrats at this point in time, but there is a "I hate Bush" sentiment rising across the country. I rarely bother people (outside of this thread) with my views on Bush and his misguided political agenda. But I often have people tell me that they cannot stand Bush. I hope the Democrats can find their compass and their voice and mount a credible challenge to Bush -- I hope he gets his electoral ass kicked for making such a mess of US policy and for being the agent of an extreme right wing group that he has assembled around himself.
