augie, Point being that the crowd was wrong at the trend change and the II numbers proved it by being bearish. Now that the trend has changed the II numbers can be correct as the trend has changed to bullish and the crowd can be expected to be correct during a trend. So II numbers that before would have indicated a top, may now not indicate anything other than proper bullish sentiment. Let's see if this theory plays out or not.
