Thanks for the link, that will be most helpful - I'm not in a huge rush so I can wait for the right deal. Most folks seem to think Dell is the way to go so I'll probably pay a bit more vs HP but it sounds like there really is a difference in quality - for example the HP system I was looking at has integrated sound instead of a separate card, something I hadn't noticed before

I bet I wind up with the Dell 4600
