"In your long running love affair with bad logic you have managed to indulge in what is known as The Fallacy of the Complex Question. The Creationists can be correct in arguing that evolution is bad science, or even a question of metaphysics, without their view of Creation being correct."

Oh, Freddy Teddy, you just keep hurting me!!! Did you sit on a very big stick when you were on vacation or something?? You are so GRUMPY!!!

The only thing I am trying to do is sort out in my own mind whether it is fair to insist that evolutionary science be taught in the public schools, but not creation theory. I took the veracity of evolution for granted until you raised the issue in the past, and have been thinking about the issue since then.

In other words, is the scientific version of the development of life on earth the way it ACTUALLY happened? Or can a logical case be made for creation theory having a credible scientific basis? If one of these theories is fact, and one is a belief system, then those who want only evolution to be taught in science classes in public schools would seem to make sense. Parents can teach their children belief systems at home, or send them to religious schools, after all.

Please define what you mean by " The Bible Belters are correct to object to a teaching of evolution that smuggles in a naturalistic metaphysical worldview and tries to pass it off as "science". NATURALISTIC METAPHYSICAL WORLDVIEW is new to me.

Could we just keep this simple, so simpletons like me can participate? I am trying to get beyond my VIEW regarding evolution and creation. I would like to look at both sides objectively.
